I worked as a Primary School teacher from 1975 to 2015 in seven schools in Scotland and England. During my career, I was privileged to work with people from many different walks of life and be part of these diverse school "families". I have a son and a daughter, both in their 30s' and now two lovely, young grandchildren. I moved to Crail in 2015 and knew no one. I joined the Crail Festival Committee in 2016, became the Coordinator for Children's Events in 2017, and carried on with a one-year break in 2023. This role has allowed me to meet a whole host of people - children with abounding enthusiasm, parents with lively personalities and many demonstrations of appreciation, Committee members and members of our village community who have shown great kindness and huge amounts of help and support over the years and still are.
